Any Agent Card may be chosen as your Director during your Deck Building.

While he/she occupies that position, your Agent will automatically receive the 'Director' Trait, and may also benefit from specific Abilities which have that requirement.

How to receive Agents

Agent Cards are commonly received as rewards in boosters and chests.

How to put Agents in play

Agent Cards must be put inside your Playing Deck during your Deck Building, and must obey to Deck Building rules.

Once in your deck, an Agent may be drawn and purchased as an Opportunity.

Recruited agents become part of your Playing Hand.

Cards from your Playing Hand may be put into play at any time during your turn.

How to use your Agents

Once in play, Agent Cards may activate their Abilities and Resource Capacities during your turn and be also targeted by other cards and players.

Note that putting an Agent in play from your Playing Hand may already activate some of his Abilities, depending on their requirements.

  • Agent Capacities can be used to pay for Challenge Costs.
  • Agent Capacities can be used to pay for Special Ability Costs.
  • Agent Capacities can be used to pay for Upgrade Equipment Costs, but only if that Upgrade targets their own card.
  • Agent Capacities cannot be used to purchase Opportunities. Only Director Capacities can be used to purchase Opportunities.
  • Agent Capacities are not replenished during the Assets phase. They are a finite resource.
